Ice dye workshop April 13th 11am-1pm (cost $75)
In this two hour workshop students will learn the basics of ice dyeing. Students will learn the process of dyeing, how to tie and manipulate the fabric to achieve a particular look, and how to care for garment after completion. For the fee students will receive guidance throughout the process, tips and tricks, all materials needed, and a completed and washed product. Work can either be taken home and completed by student, or they may leave it to be picked up the following day. Students will receive one complimentary item to dye. The options provided are either a tea towel, or cotton bandana. Each student may bring one item to dye. The material must be made of natural fibers in order to hold the dye (example: cotton, bamboo, hemp, canvas) If you want to bring more than one item, each additional item after that will cost $15 to dye. If you are planning on bringing additional items for the workshop, please let me know so I can prepare extra materials.
Batik dye workshop April 20th 11am-1pm (cost $70)
In this two hour workshop students will learn the basics of batik dyeing. Students will learn the process of dyeing, how to apply wax resist to the fabric to achieve a particular look, and how to care for garment after completion. For the fee students will receive guidance throughout the process, tips and tricks, all materials needed, and a completed product. Release and Liability Waiver
Read this Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless Agreement carefully and in its entirety. It is a binding legal document.
If you are under the age of 18, this form must be signed by your parent or legal guardian.
In consideration of my participation in the Program and the activities for which I have registered (the “Activity”), I represent, covenant, and agree as follows:
I acknowledge that participating in the Activity involves certain risks and that injuries, death, property damage, or other harm could occur to me or others. I accept and voluntarily incur any and all risks of any injuries, damages, or harm which arise during or resulting from my participation in the Activity.
I hereby waive all claims against any of the Released Parties for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims, whether known or unknown, which arise during or result from my participation in the Activity, regardless of whether caused on while or in part by the negligence or other fault of any of the Released Parties. I release and forever discharge the Released Parties from all such claims.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from all losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and/or expenses, including, but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and other litigation’s costs and expenses, incurred by any of the Released Parties as a result of any claims or suits that I, or anyone claiming by, under or through me, may bring against any of the Released Parties to recovery any losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and/or expenses which arise during or result from my participation in the Activity, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other fault of any of the Released Parties.
